Research Magazine #3 - National Geographic; Inside the Mission to Save Africa’s Okavango Delta

The cover shows a beautiful areal view of the delta region in Africa with plentiful vegetation a snake like rivers. The colors are earthy and the title is very big a covers the middle of the picture without taking away form the glory of the picture. Articles include the mission to save Africa's Okavango Delta which is the main focus in the magazine. Other articles are more focused on animals and it does contain a few articles talking about social and cultural problems. The article of the Okavango Delta is appear towards the back of the magazine on page 67 of 82 and in between each bigger article is advertisements for cars, movies, food, restaurants, and more. The table of contents contains a diverse set of images. It shows people protesting for some articles and moves to the landscape pictures of their more animal based articles. The magazine is a lively one and contains many high end, vibrant pictures. The content of the more popular magazines is more political or globally affecting problems meaning that this magazine focusing on a certain place would not be as widely demanded and read by the audience as others. Considering the normality and disinterest in this content of the magazine, the distribution number for this magazine is only about a quarter million.
